Our event, ‘Count the money we spend on nuclear weapons – and divert it to saving our climate’, is taking place tomorrow (Saturday 26 October) from 10.00-16.00 outside the Ministry of Defence in London.
You are very welcome to join us.
We will be counting £5.2 billion; the amount the UK spends on its nuclear weapons programme in a year. We will be physically counting 10,400 x £500,000 notes. We will be demanding that the money is spent instead on addressing the climate emergency.
