Hide the content of this forum?

It was suggested all the content of the forum should be hidden. I'm not sure what the benefit of that would be.

We could have some of the boards hidden except for people who are logged in. That might be a good solution / compromise.

Apparently the user groups 'Bots' and 'Guests' are search engine bots and people who are not logged in. By not allowing the Bots and Guest groups to see particular parts of the forum makes those parts 'Members Only',

My inclination is to limit this discussion forum to members. We can invite people outside the EC to join if we think they can contribute.
Given how few people are using the forum it's probably not an issue...!
